Hey all!

My name is Lee, I’m the IT guy here at Ads4Dough.

About six months ago, I moved from cold-dark-Michigan to where I am now, at Smaxor’s Coastal Affiliate Paradise in north county San Diego, CA. Usually, I call myself a programmer, but I wear a lot of hats around here. I’m big on statistics, graphs and properly formatted data.

And I really like split testing! Split testing, over other testing methods, has the biggest potential for quickly increasing your conversions with a less-than-perfect campaign (whereas multi-variant testing, used correctly, is more likely to help put the finishing touches on an already-great lander). Smax and I were just looking at this article on your right vs. left ears, and I asked the obvious question: Can we monetize this?

According to the article, a plea or request heard by the right ear — thus being processed by the left, logical side of the brain — is more likely to get a positive response. It’s not hard to imagine that same effect could have a significant influence on a potential customer’s final decision. The real question is, will it convert?

We haven’t tried it, and we don’t know if it works. But if you’ve got a flog, and you want those extra sales, keep experimenting! Maybe a version of the page with no left-channel audio will boost your conversions, and maybe it won’t, but there’s only one way to find out.

Looking for more split testing ideas? Drop on by #A4D on irc.freenode.net, or contact your affiliate manager.

Success!

Ever wondered why some mobile IQ offers convert
so much better then others?

A lot of it has to do with the back end of the mobile IQ
offer. What you find is a lot of the IQ, Crush, etc offers
out there use Mobile Messenger as their back end to
send the mobile data and do the processing. The
problem with the mobile messenger system is that
they only convert on certain carriers. Where someone
with a non mobile messenger backend probably
will convert on a lot of the carriers the MM back
end offers don’t. In turn this typically will get you
a better conversion rate.

A couple of the IQ offers I think are head and shoulders
above the rest are:

Quizyou.Net
This is from the makers of the back end for
Ringtones.net and gl.amtone.com which
are a couple of the premier ringtones offers.
They’ve now moved into doing mobile content
delivery and their offer converts better then most
of the others we’ve tried.

Challenge IQ - 2
Is live once again, this is a private offer so please ask
your AM for access to it if you’re already doing IQ
volume. In my opinion Too Lazy’s offer is probably the
best or second best converting IQ offer. They payout is
a little lower but that’s because this offer converts on
more carriers then any other I know of. Remember it’s all
about EPC ( earnings per click ) higher payout doesn’t
always equal better offer.

As I’m sure you all know Facebook has opened up there
platform to now allow these kinds of offers. So if you’re
already running traffic to another offer you may want
to split test it against Challenge IQ - 2 or quizyou.net. As
always let me or your AM know if you need help with
promotion and we’ll happily give you some pointers.

Have a good weekend and keep slanggin.

Success,

Evening Jason,

Just briefly as I don’t know much about it yet. It looks like Myspace’s Pay Per Click platform is live at http://advertise.myspace.com. if you know anything about Facebook the first few weeks their Pay Per Click platform was live there was a mint made on it. Typically the
best offers that are going to work with out having to do a lot of trial and error are:

Dating - Singlesnet
Diet - Rachael Ray Acai offer
Crush - Pure Crush Calculator
Ringtones - jamster
Freebies - Winicane Free Iphone

For those of you that aren’t familiar with Myspace traffic. it usually converts at about 5 x’s what Facebook traffic does. The demographic is much more likely to buy or signup for offers then Facebook users. So get out there and make the easy money before they put a lot of
rules in place like Facebook did.

We’re going to be updating our ads4dough.com blog at

For those of you that know me you know I’m a firm believer in split testing everything. If you’re not split testing you’re not working. You should be split testing networks with the same offer. Split testing offers. Split testing add copy. Split testing headlines. Split testing images. Etc, etc etc.

I highly suggest if you’re not split testing START now. Chances are you’re losing money. Some times and offer starts converting less or breaks for some reason. You’ll want to start split testing it vs. another similar offer.

I had a couple affiliates ask me for a small script to do this testing. So here you go:

<?php
$links = array(’http://www.affiliatelink1.com’,'http://www.affiliatelink2.com’);
$link = $links[array_rand($links)];
echo “<meta http-equiv=’refresh’ content=’0;url=$link’/>”;
?>

What you’ll want to do is save this to a file called mylink.php or something similar. Then upload it to your server in one of the public html directories where you’d put a landing page or something similar. Then on your landing page or your link in your ppc platform you’ll want to make it look like this.

http://www.yourdomain.com/dirlocation/mylink.php

or in a landing page

<a href=”http://www.yourdomain.com/dirlocation/mylink.php”>Link Text</a>

And this will rotate fairly evenly between your two links. Then track in your affiliate interface click to conversions and see what offer is performing more highly and move to it.

Hope this helps you put more cash in your pocket.

Success,

Ever wanted to jump into a niche before it became saturated? Well now is your chance!

If you know anything about the recent run of Green Tea Diet offers affiliates have been making a killing with them. But the space has become so competitive it’s moved most
people out of the market. So what’s the next big thing in this same space?

The Acai Diet Craze is up next as mentioned by Oprah. Because of this
we’re jumping in front of the curve and have added 2 new Acai offers for you. As far as I know only 1 or 2 other networks out of 100’s have any Acai offers to promote. So if you’re going to move, move quickly.

EPC’s from landers:
$3-4 PPC Search
$1.50-2 email

Our 2 offers:
-> Converting better so far…
(Diet) - Pure Acai (983)
http://affiliates.ads4dough.com/sw/13389/CD1/

Afternoon Affiliate,

We have 3 Fresh Unique offers we just added for you.

Offer 1:
Diabetes Meter - Pay Per Lead
As far as offers go this is one of the most unique I’ve seen in a while. This a Lead offer for a diabetes testing glucose meter. For those of you that don’t know much about this disease, Diabetes is a disease people get in old age that ravishes the body untreated and takes years off their life. Also there are certain ethnic populations it hits harder then others, do a little research and you’ll what I me. So think about keywords that older people might frequent where you can get cheap clicks.

You might consider making a pre-sell page with a heading that asks them something like:

“Do you know Diabetes undetected Ages you 2 Years for every 1 Year you live?”
“Are you Tired, ….?”

This offer pays you $20 per Lead on the first page submit.

http://affiliates.ads4dough.com/sw/12269/CD1/

Offer 2:
MSN-Toolbar Download
Next up is a Download offer for the new MSN Toolbar. This pays you 4$ on download of the toolbar by your user. I’m not going to go into how to promote this one but stop and think for a second. Ask yourself how could I get people to want to download and install a MSN toolbar?

http://affiliates.ads4dough.com/sw/12285/CD1/

Offer 3:
UK – Optical Express
1 Page lead submit UK Lasik offer. If you don’t know Lasik Eye Surgery is a really hot niche right now. You might try this one on Facebook Ads, AdWords Content Network or Email. We’ll be targeting it on AdWords content network and will give you an update of how it’s doing down the road. Think about symptoms to advertise on, glasses keywords, Dr’s names and other problems that may lead to similar symptoms. If I was to make a pre-sell landing page I’d have images with vision before and after with a stop watch.

http://affiliates.ads4dough.com/sw/12287/CD1/

If you have a suggestion for and offer that you have traffic for please email it to me at JasonA@ads4dough.com

> Education Section <

For those of you that don’t know our system supports what’s called subid tracking. What this means is you can pass some data to the lead and it’ll track with the lead you send. For example if you’re running search pay per click campaigns and want to know what keywords are converting. You can pass the keyword through like so.

http://affiliates.ads4dough.com/sw/12269/CD1/KEYWORDGOESHERE

or

http://www.adsjmp.com/track.asp?a=CD1&b=12282&d=0&l=0&o=KEYWORDGOESHERE&p=0

Then when you login to ads4dough and go to “statistics”, select your dates, then click “download optional info” it’ll give you a .csv (comma separated data file). Open this file in excel or or even a text editor you’ll see columns with data on your conversions. The “info” column is what is going to relate to what keyword converted for you.

So what else can you use this for? Say you’re advertising on Facebook and want to track which ads are not just getting a good CTR ( clickthru rate ) but are actually converting once they get to the landing page. You might be asking does my ad effect the landing page conversions? Yes! Absolutely. How you position your click even before it gets to the site has a large impact on conversion ratio’s once they get to the page. We’ve seen as much as 100% increases in conversions just by making small changes in the ad copy.

Well that’s all for now I hope this helps all of you and we’re going to make an effort to deliver ideas and value to you in every email we send with offers.

Success,
